Sneak Peek of "K" family!

It was the most beautiful fall day, and these kids were so well behaved and fun. Mom and I had a great time talking about "dance Moms".....Both her daughter and mine enjoy dancing:) Mr. "M" was a huge help with everything and keeping little brother "J" on track. Ms. "E" was amazing, I wish I could do an hour session also with her alone...she loves the camera and was so comfortable posing.Dad was the best and game for anything. Thank you for climbing the tree and for bringing the puppy. I will forever think that he looks like Gizmo. As soon as the gallery posts I will email you! Ill try to post one with the puppy tomorrow and the profiles!

Sneak Peek of "D" Twins!

I was a bit nervous about having 1 year old twins, as I was picturing lots of chasing and crying:) I was wrong. Mom and Dad were super laid back and not stressed out at all. The babies were so happy and easy to work with. I think our biggest challenge was getting Little "D" to want to crawl in the grass. His favorite toy during the session was his sisters purple socks which he insisted on pulling off. Ms. "B" had no problem with the grass, and even stood by the barn for a few too! We then did some really candid shots, and wrapped it up with some dancing to music. Thank you so much for finding me and having me capture these memories. I will email you when I post the gallery.

Moms should get in the picture!

After chatting with a few of my friends, and "Mom"s tonight, about Mom's getting in more pictures with their kids, I looked up an article they mentioned and have posted a link here.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/allison-tate/mom-pictures-with-kids_b_1926073.html

As a photographer, I can not tell you how many Mom's don't get in the shot, and how many are super critical about how they look if they do... the article says it much better than I can, so please read it if you are a Mom. Recently a well known photographer in Oregon passed away at the age of 36....a mother of 2 boys... she was a very talented inspiring individual. The day after she found out, she made a video with her 2 sons. I am posting a link here to her video. It is the most beautiful and saddest I have seen. Have kleenex close by-it is very moving. To have a memory like this is priceless.

Sneak Peek of "W" Family!

After a rain out out on our first scheduled  session date, I was so glad we had a perfect day for pictures. Last year I remember being worried about big brother "S" smiling and being comfortable, and this year, all we got were smiles:)))) Mom and Dad you will really have a hard time picking. I love how casual our sessions are, and that at the end Mom had no problem getting the kids up in a tree for some super cute shots. Mr. "W" we may have actually gotten a head shot that will work for you this time:) I will get you gallery up soon. Please enjoy the sneak peek!

Sneak Peek of Neuqua valley Graduating Senior "T"!

"T" is a very talented senior, with a great future. I had the opportunity to photograph him last year with his 2 brothers, and I really think he was super comfortable this session. I loved hearing some jazz from his trombone on the bridge, - I hope you made the Jazz band....I think tryouts were later that day! I know you've been waiting awhile to see a sneak peek of what we captured...I will email you as soon as I post the gallery. Thanks again for having me capture the special memories.

Sneak Peek of "G" family!

I have really enjoyed getting to know the "G" family better this year...after photographing Ms. "J" for senior pictures, and now the family...finally got to meet her little brothers:) I have to say that I have had few families this year that were more adventurous and easy to work with! From climbing a tree to scaling the bridge, we had lots of fun. Said for the rain that started 5 minutes before our session time...:) Thank you all for a great hour! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

A quick reminder that My fall season will end this year on November 15th. After that date, I will be taking newborns, Maternity and cake smashes during December, January and February. Senior and family sessions will start again in March or April depending on the weather. If you would like an outdoor winter session with snow, just call and yes, we can schedule those too. If you are looking for Holiday cards this year, the cut off to order is December 5th. New cards will be loaded and posted next week by Friday, so watch for samples! Gallery boards are my newest product and make great gifts. If you would like to see these, please contact me through the website www.carolgrahamphotography.com to set a time to view available products. I will also soon post a picture of a gallery board  so you can see them.  Happy haunting!

Sneak Peek of Neuqua Valley Graduating Senior Mr. "C"!

I knew from talking with Mr. C that we would have a fun session! He had some great ideas and was really looking forward to being photographed, a huge change from "most" senior boys who are not huge fans of  having their pictures taken! Mr. "C" has a really cool car, and wanted some pictures with the car, urban, and also a fall look. He had a great place in mind for the Fall color, and we had perfect weather. The Naperville downtown scene worked perfect for the car shots. I'm sorry it took so long to get these posted and look forward to our viewing appointment!

Sneak Peek of Kaneland High School Graduating Senior Ms. "A"!

We had a beautiful day for pictures, just warm enough to not need a jacket, or at least Ms. "A" did not look like she did:) I definitely had to use my stool a lot as Ms. "A" is quite tall! Mom came with and I had such a nice time talking with her.... We got some amazing shots, and Ms. "A" was super natural in front of the camera. I cant wait to meet and view all your images together and see which she likes best. We had so many different looks, and cool lighting to work with! Thank you again for having me capture these memories. Carol
