Sneak peek of Ms. "S" turning 1! Cake Smash...or not:)

I have photographed "S" since before she was born:) Mom and I were anxiously awaiting her 1 year cake smash, and had everything ready for the big day! "S" had cake for the first time a few days before, and did not like it so much...I found this out when they arrived for the smash session. We hoped that she would like it today and went ahead with it as planned...but.... not so much:) Ms. "S" did not really like the cake at all...or the mess that came with it. We got the silliest looks and hands up, like oh my how do I get outta here! Mom and I thought quick and brought her some toys and dishes. She played, danced and slid around on the dishes for the rest of the session...I am happy that we were able to capture her playful side, and know that Mom will keep some of the pouty faces for her future! Thanks again for working through with me, there is always a first!  Oh and thank you sooo much for being patient about getting to see our session.

Sneak peek of the "W" family!

The "W" family has been with me since my very first season...we have a lot of fun, and the boys did fantastic...so glad we went "Royal" this year  and that I got to take the boys with the piano and violin...Loved the setting with your clothing! We snuck in our session between the rain clouds :) LOVE this shot.

Sneak Peek of the "J" Family!

First time for professional family pictures, and these four children did fantastic! Mom and Dad were very relaxed and ready for anything, and after our first family set up, I think the kids found that smiling was fun! Thank you for having us capture these memories for you!

Sneak peek of the "V" family!

Mom and I did some work to coordinate the kids outfits, and I sooo love the results! We had a pretty chilly day in downtown Naperville, so we took quick pictures and some warm up breaks! It was really nice to see how well the kiddos get along, and so nice to see so many easy smiles and great serious looks too! Please enjoy the sneak peek and thank you for your patience!

Sneak peek of the "D" Family!

Last year the "D" family almost got blown away on the windy day we had:) No so this year! We had a beautiful day at the barn. Mom always dresses her kiddos in the cutest color combinations...loved the navy and orange this year! Little brother is just 2, and the girls under 5, so we were quite challenged to capture the 3 siblings when they were not on the move. I love the family shots this year, and hope you do too! Sneak peek of the "H" family!

After a rocky start trying to get the whole family together on one day, we ended up with a great group session! I have not seen the "H" family for a few years, and it was so great to catch up. The smiles come easy and everyone is always so easy to work with! You definitely make my  work not feel like work! I am glad you were able to surprise your hubby:) Thank you for being so patient waiting for the sneak peek!

Sneak peek of the "L" family!

I missed the "L" family last year, and was surprised as always at how big my friends older 2 children have gotten! I still remember them in 2nd and 3rd grade:) We have know each other for awhile, and I always have so much fun working with the whole family! Little "D" is getting big too, and is getting so handsome- girls, watch out! Ms. "S" has those beautiful blue eyes and is always sparkly:) not to mention the sparky boots- too cute!
