Sneak peek of Newborn Baby "M"!

Introducing newborn baby "M"! Baby "M" has a bit of reddish brown hair, blue eyes, beautiful skin, and a great sleepy smile. Sometimes newborns can be fussy for these sessions, but not this time:) Mom wanted soft pictures, and some with big sister "J".....when we did these Ms. "J" was a bit shy at first, but once she saw baby taking pictures under the tent:) she was fantastic, I love the sweet looks and sweet kisses we captured! One shot we did for Dad was with a baseball and mitt. These  are priceless. I just finished a few and will add a few more to this post in the next couple of days!

Photographs of Nocturne Video!

I had an amazing experience working with Michele McGovern and Dave Apps who just filmed a video for their new song Nocturne. My daughter was asked to be a child dancer in the video, and of course I could not resist taking pictures for them while there. The work that went into this production was...amazing the crew and dancers and staff all worked so hard to pull this together. I cannot wait until the video is released!  It was very cool to be able to shoot something like this. I am so proud of my daughter who hung in there through the wee hours of filming and did an awesome job working with the professional dancers and director! I am posting a few that I have finished and will share more as I go through them!

Sneak Peek of the "D" family!

The "D" family was a referral from one of my very first clients....I love meeting new families, and also shooting in new locations. We met at a very quaint garden in Wheaton, nestled back in a neighborhood. The setting was small and beautiful. I really loved the trees and fountain. All 4 kids did great. a few quirky "I am not so sure about this" smiles at the very start, but they truly warmed up quick and were super fun. I really liked how they all got along, any time I needed a giggle master I had a willing sibling! Mom and Dad were fabulous and sooo laid back, maybe it is something about having 4 kids, maybe not, but I can say that I've met several families lately with 4 kids, and these parents totally get it. Chaos, quiet, changing it up, they all roll with the punches. Enjoy the sneak peek, these are some of my favorites!
