Sneak peek of Baby "E" and big sister "I"!

I haven't seen baby E since he was a newborn bundle! Wow has he grown and what a cute personality! I love the red hair and blue eyes. This is my first official 2014 session and it was great to get behind my lens. We started with E and a vintage hat and bow tie...I don't think we had to work too hard as E was all smiles and so easy to engage. Big sister however had her own ideas about taking pics, much like most 2 year olds I photograph, and we could not quite get her to stay on the backdrop with E. Grandma was working hard with us too, and I so appreciated the help! I was quick to snap a few photo journalistic shots of her, and really love the look. Mom I hope you are as pleased with these as I am. I know we wanted them together, and I think it will come...hopefully outdoors this summer or fall:) I am posting a  sneak peek for you here and will email the gallery release early next week!

Chasing away cold weather blues!

Winter is especially blah for me for a few reasons...1). too cold! 2). not enough sun and 3). I don't get to photograph nearly as much as I like to. To shake off some of these winter blues, I designed a wall layout using a bright colored chevron pattern and some more artistic beach pictures with plans to decorate my bath:). I am using metal mounts for this project that are coated and ok for use in a bathroom. Very easy to hang, and super thin! What I love about these mounts, is that you can create your own designer matte around an image, or add words, or a name, or any pattern to match your decor and can even order these with two holes punched at the top to hang by a ribbon. If you have a more artistic shot, and don't know how to display it, or would like to make a "custom" sign for your kiddos...here is a new opportunity to decorate with! Sneak Peek of Graduating Senior Ms. "N"! Class of 2014!

After a busy fall, and long holiday I am back to working on Senior sessions taken this past fall. What a great way to start 2014! Ms. "N" was so fun and amazing to work with, after some rain outs, and a cold, we ended up with a perfect day. About half way through our session I figured out that Ms. "N" reminded me of Mila Kunis , something about her piercing blue eyes and dark hair....I love her smile in the close up shots, I had photographed her sister a couple of years ago, and I think Mom is going to have a hard time again as Ms. N did not take a bad picture:) This is a long post, and thank you so much for waiting until after the holiday rush for me to get these up!

Sneak peek of Ms. "S" turning 1! Cake Smash...or not:)

I have photographed "S" since before she was born:) Mom and I were anxiously awaiting her 1 year cake smash, and had everything ready for the big day! "S" had cake for the first time a few days before, and did not like it so much...I found this out when they arrived for the smash session. We hoped that she would like it today and went ahead with it as planned...but.... not so much:) Ms. "S" did not really like the cake at all...or the mess that came with it. We got the silliest looks and hands up, like oh my how do I get outta here! Mom and I thought quick and brought her some toys and dishes. She played, danced and slid around on the dishes for the rest of the session...I am happy that we were able to capture her playful side, and know that Mom will keep some of the pouty faces for her future! Thanks again for working through with me, there is always a first!  Oh and thank you sooo much for being patient about getting to see our session.

Sneak peek of the "W" family!

The "W" family has been with me since my very first season...we have a lot of fun, and the boys did fantastic...so glad we went "Royal" this year  and that I got to take the boys with the piano and violin...Loved the setting with your clothing! We snuck in our session between the rain clouds :) LOVE this shot.

Sneak Peek of the "J" Family!

First time for professional family pictures, and these four children did fantastic! Mom and Dad were very relaxed and ready for anything, and after our first family set up, I think the kids found that smiling was fun! Thank you for having us capture these memories for you!
