Sneak Peek of the "R" family!

I love meeting new families...little "D' and his sister "M" are only 1 year apart. They were super cute and a bit shy at the start. Dad had this great way of walking up and then charging while stamping his feet that elicited the best laughter! I think the first time I actually did jump too:) We told secrets by the tree, and really had a great time. I love the canndid look of our session...here are some of my favorites! Sneak Peek of the"A" family!

I photographed Ms."E" last year for her senior pictures, and was thrilled when Mrs. "A" called me to do family pictures and her Senior son this year- "J". We went to one of my favorite spots along the river walk in Naperville, and Im pretty sure after some really candid shots by the water,and a bit of teasing from Dad to get the "real " smiles... that everyone was having fun! Sneak peek of "M" Family!

Its time for Family Holiday Pictures!

(hahaha) I told Mrs. "M" that I was going to use several of their family shots for my Holiday ad this year:) I think you can see why! Mrs. "M" I hope you are laughing! Seriously, September, and how nice the have this out of the way....Hmmmm. I wonder if I can photoshop my own family into this wonderful setting? Senior "T" the older daughter did her senior pictures with me a few months ago. I so loved working with her brother and sister! Mr. A" had better watch out as the girls are going to love his hair:) and I cannot wait to do "T"'s sisters senior pictures! This session was so fun, we had a ton of laughs and everyone was so easy to work with and relaxed. Mrs. "M" I did not post the AHHH photo of you, but it will be in the gallery! Mr. "M" thank you for being perfect in every shot! Sneak Peek of the "H" family!

Heading out to the barn, I realized that one of the things I love most about my work, is photographing familes as their children grow. I feel like I really get to know them and have an important role in presrving their family memories....the "H family is one that I hold dear...I have photographed little "T" since he was a tiny baby, and now am working with his sister, just 1 year also too! I so loved that "achoo " received big smiles and was also rewarded with belly laughs ! During our session I had a "Photographer's Moment" It's a hard thing to explain, but its like knowing you "got" the shot before looking at it...I was right, and both Mom and Dad were super excited to one of the whole family:) After working with "T" and the family, Mom and I took "L" into the field to capture some pretty soft shots...I am in love with so many, its going to be hard to choose. I also used my new vintage girlie chair...Ms. "L had no  trouble scaling this, and promptly sat in it and smiled! Please enjoy the sneak peek, your gallery will post very soon. Now that the kiddos are back in school I am back to being pretty quick!

Sneak Peek of the "B" family!

Dont trust google maps:) I had sent the "B" family a link, which I never do:) and it helped guide them right into the neighborhood next to the park we chose for our family session:)...Thanks to our cell phones, we all ended up together. Baby "J" was as easy as can be...smiling most of the time and soooo cute! He has these super big eyes, and this impish look where he wrinkles up his nose, I cannot remember what Mom and Dad call this look....but it is super cute! We started by the water and ended in the park. My vintage suitcase made the perfect prop for baby "J" who is not quite sitting on his own! I love the relaxed feel to your images and hope you do too...the gallery will go up this week!

Sneak Peek of "S" family reunion!

Mr. "S" had called about having their family reunion photographed this summer. I could tell from our first conversation that this family would be fun, and a pleasure to work with! Myself and Rob (my awesome new photographer) met with Mr. "S" to look at the property and find a suitable place to photograph all 44 in the family....the property is beautiful, situated by Herrick lake, with a fantastic shade garden, compliments of Mrs. "S" and some beautiful fields. We chose the shade garden as the main area, and love the results. On the day of the reunion Rob photographed each family as well as various groups of the families together...and had great success working with everyone. Getting 44 people to look and smile at the same time is no small task, and I think you will be very pleased with the results! I sincerely hope that we get called upon to photograph yoru next reunion and look forward to that! Enjoy the sneak peek, I will add some additional familes to the sneak peek for you ...I know everyone is anxious to view them and wanted to get some up tonight! The gallery will post very soon.
